Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Law firm fraud
I signed a contract with an attorney 5 months ago, I never saw or talked to this attorney. I would always request to talk to him but I would get excuses of his absence. Later by looking his license I found a phone number with another office address.
I talked to him and told me he never authorized my law firm to use his name for their business and he mailed me a letter stating that. Can law firm get sued for using his name?

Re: Law firm fraud
Report this conduct to the police and the state bar association. It is very probable that someone is practicing law without a license.
