Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Lawfully break lease agreement
3 roommates signed a 1 year lease on a house. 1 roommate has marijuana as well as an unregistered firearm on the premises. Is it possible for either of the other 2 roommates to be released from the lease agreement lawfully without an eviction on their record or being responsible for additional rental fees? The landlord has been notified.

Sounds like a bogus excuse to get out of your lease, but who knows.
And you ratted out your armed roommate for marijuana? Let the fun begin.
