How to I learn who bought the property next door?

There are several ways, but the most general and direct way is to visit the County Recorder's office and, with the assistance of a clerk, look up the records for that parcel, often requiring looking at a parcel map first to go from the address to the parcel number. In some counties, this can be done on line, and the tax assessor's office is also a possibility.
