Lease allows pets

Lease allowed pets when I first moved into the unit. I have a 5 year lease. New leasee are not allow to have pets under new management. Am I allowed to keep my pet.

Yes. All the leases stand on their own. You don't pay the rent specified in the other guy's lease either, nor are you allowed to occupy his unit.
