Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Leased property

I own a wedding facility that is on leased property. The structures on the property need maintenance and the lake is running dry. The owners ofthe property say it is my responsibility to make all repairs. This doesn't seem right to me. Do I have any recourse on the proeprty owners?

Re: Leased property

Unfortunately without reviewing your lease, its is impossible to say who is responsible for what. It is very possible that your lease requires you to do the work. Review your lease first, and if it doesn't address the question of who must do what specifically, then you will need to consult with a local attorney to review general rules related to commercial property rentals.
