Leasing Fee

I have a simple m2m property management agreement, but verbally agreed to pay my realtor a 1/2 month's rent if they re-rent my unit. I re-rented it myself, but my realtor still wants their fee. Can they collect.

I'd say no, for two reasons. The agreement probably had to be in writing. More important, the realtor didn't earn a fee under the terms of the verbal (oral) agreement.
