My ex-boyfriend owns the house I live in and He has moved out. We had always shared in the bills and upkeep of the home in the 3 years we have been living together. I have 2 children and one is his. He wants us to move out now and pull the kids out of school and so on. I want to know what are my rights do I have any or do I just have to leave our home?
please help i am really unsure what to do?

Re: when do i have to leave
You probably have no right to stay in the property indefinitely. However,
your ex-boyfriend must still follow appropriate legal procedures to make you leave.
You may be protected if local rent control contains a "good cause for eviction" requirement. It may
be possible to get the right temporarily to stay in the house under a
Domestic Violence Protective Order. In the long run, though, the owner has a right
to the property, and the fact that he is the father of one of your children doesn't give
you any right to stay on his property.
