liability exposure
Our private road need major traffic control. If we put in speed bumps and someone ignores them and damages their car can we be sued?

Put up signs that say "Speed Bumps Ahead." Then they're on notice that there are speed bumps ahead and they proceed at their own risk.
If it's a private road, can't you control access, as well?
