Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I live in Alameda California and have been in the same building since 1993, the building is up for sale and the owner has mentioned moving into our unit, what are our rights, we also have noted mold coming thru the kids exterior bedroom wall and up the carpet. The current owner has not fixed anything in our unit was was served with a letter.

I do not know what the last phrase as to being served refers to. You need to tell us whether you are on a long term lease or month to month tenancy, do you want to know about your rights to stay there for a certain time, the mold problem, what else.
