Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
I live on a zero property line in Solano County, CA and my neighbor recently installed solar panels. The solar company installed the large battery reserves on the zero property line side of their house, so that they project into my property. They said they could do that because there's an easement. My understanding is that the easement is for maintenance only and they are not allowed to install something that projects/encroaches over into my space. When I called the solar company to complain, they said they would move it, but I'd have to pay about $3000. Is there a law that I can refer to here?

If the easement is for maintenance only the law is common law trespass.
