Loan modification company is out of business - Can I still sue them

You should not have to pay a fee in advance. If we can review your papers, we can advise you if you have a case.

Before you hire another attorney, call the State Bar of California and complain to them. You can call the DRE, but if there is an attorney involved, and the original company is out of business, you are more likely to get somewhere with the Bar Association. Then call Attorney Rothman to file suit.
