loan modification scam?

is there any way to retrive funds for services not render $2.900.00 i was assured that even if my financial insitition could not help me they were to look in any other banks that could help me this has not happened nor is it my bank notified me and denied which was why i went to outside help

Generally, you should not have to pay an advanced fee for a loan modification. We would have to review your documetation to see if you have a case.

Call the Office of the State Attorney General, and depending upon if the loan modification is licensed, the DRE or State Bar. You can also call the local district attorney and the Better Business Bureau. You can also take them to small claims court and attempt to recover by a judgment. Good luck - I hear this over and over all day long about scam companies.
