If the management of an apartment complex has changed, is the the new management company required to change the key code for entry into the apartment complex?

I would doubt that it is legally required, as opposed to being something done to re-assure the tenants of their increased safety because the number of people knowing the access cosde is reduced.

Not that I know of, but prudence might suggest it would be a good thing to do, to avoid possible charges of negligence, should something happen as a result of unauthorized entry.
