How do i find a mediator

You can look on-line or contact the Clerk's office, the Alternative Dispute Resolution office for a referral. They maintain a data base of court approved mediators.

In your case, I would try the Butte County Superior Court's Mediation Referral service at http://www.buttecourt.ca.gov/apps/CivilADR/SearchNeutral_Action.cfm This site lists about 80 people who act as mediators; as far as I can tell, they are all over the county except none report 95966 as a Zip.
Or call the court or the Butte County Bar Association.
