Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Menorandum of Understanding

How binding is a MOU. We purchased property and have the legal description, etc which is ours. However the City harassed us and we finally signed an MOU to have a survey done, pay for court costs, survey, filing, etc. I never wanted to sign it but my husband was and is ill and do to their constant badgering we finally signed it. The survey is finally completed after 6 years.

They City is not paying one cent - it is our property and I really still do not want to give it to them. My husband is agreeing to do it only to get them off our back.

You need to contact an attorney that practices real property law and have the attorney review the documents and facts of your case. There is too much at stake to attempt to resolve this matter yourself or over the internet.
