Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Mobil Home Tenancy
We have owned our mobil home in this Senior Mobil Home park for over 9 years, My question is: In our contract it states we can have 3 adults living in our home. Management has lost all paper work regarding our residency. We are being harassed by management in many forms. We now be asked to requalify for residency in this park. We have also been told that we are guests not homeowners
what can we do to have management from harassing us and keeping us from entry of our home.

Re: Mobil Home Tenancy
It sounds like management is misunderstanding the terms of their deal with you. A "cease and desist" letter from you (or an attorney) with copies of your contract and proof of home ownership sent to the manager and owners of the park would probably end the behavior.
Re: Mobil Home Tenancy
The Mobile home park cannot violate your written agreement even if they do not have a copy of it anymore. If they have harrassed you orally, you should supply them a copy of your agreement. If they harras you in writing, please fax me a copy of your agreement and their letter, and I will provide you with free consulation. My fax number is 714 363 0229.
Re: Mobil Home Tenancy
A lot of mobile home parks are trying to get tenants to move out, so they can charge higher rental fees.
Review your agreement, and if there is nothing in there that gives them the right to make you "requalify", send them a copy with a letter saying that if they do not quit the harrassment, you will have an attorney arrange to convince them to stop the harrasment.
