Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Mobile Home Owner Rights Pertaining To Rented Property Lines
Hello,
I'd like information pertaining to the mobile home owner's rights concerning rented property and the lines of such property which define the area rented. I have a new neighbor in our mobile home park who told me he is puting up a fence so that he does not have to look at my children. This is fine and dandy, excepting he believes his new residency goes ten feet onto my yard. His yard is over 5000 square feet already, ours less than 2000. We have the smallest yard here and he says he's going to take my yard, which matches to the rear of his mobile home about 8 feet away from it. He says when he bought the mobile home it was represented to him as owning our yard as well. This is not what we pay rent for.....we pay rent for this space. In this space, when we bought this mobile, there was a fence. It clearly defined our property line. We removed it because it was in a shambles, as the place had been vacant 2+ years prior to us buying it. We don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Mobile Home Owner Rights Pertaining
The first step is to review the lease or rental contract and see what it says, then I would contact the landlord and ask them.
