Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Mobile Home Park
I had a brand new Manufactured house placed in a mobile home park. They are harrassing me something furious. It's gotten personal. Can they take my house or keep me out of my home?

Re: Mobile Home Park
Your question is quite impossible to answer without more facts. You did not specify what the harassment consists of or why they are doing it. What might be harassment to some would be enforcing the park rules to others. You need to consult a local attorney who has experience with California's Mobile Home Residency law. You can probably get a referral from the local county bar association.
Re: Mobile Home Park
Who is "they" - park management or your neighbors? What are they doing that amounts to harrassment? Did you move this home in unannounced? Does it comply with the park rules and local zoning?
Re: Mobile Home Park
The mobile home park management can evict you and place a lien on your home and sell it. This usually only happens when a tenant fails to pay rent or utilities timely and it would be part of an eviction process. They can also evict you for creating a nusiance on more than one occasion or anything else they consider a breach of the rental agreement or the park rules. It is possible to lose the manufactured home you own. I would suggest you look closely at rental agreement or lease and the Park rules and regulations and have an attorney review the documentation before it is too late.
