mortgage company send deed paid off wants to overturn

my father died almost two years ago.......telling me he left insurance that will pay off home.......

mortgage company denies it and time goes on.......the home has over 100 thousand dollars equity in it.....

last year i recieve deed and title saying full reconveyance and recorded and stamped paid in full

i am happy decide to do repairs and fixtures on home

i also tried contacting the company and had another comapany do a title search before trying to sell the home......and they were not on title anymore........

once i tried selling the home the agent was told by the company the home is not paid in full but refused to send her any documents stating they were still on title.....and they were going to forclose on the home.......as soon as possible.......i hadn't recieved any letter for this and panic.....they return an answer to through my agent saying they had an employee who purposely sent me that deed and went as far as recording it and that they were going to get back on title and then call me .....still there a date of sale for my property and what do i do

I agree with Mr. Koenen. You need to discuss this in detail with an attorney who practices real estate law. You should make an appointment immediately and take all of the documents you have with you so that the attorney can look at them.
