Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

mortgage

hello,me and my dad,and sisters live in a house and and my dad is the primary on the loan,while us other 3 are on the mortgage too but as i stated my dad is the primary. now he wants to leave cause he found it's just not his thing. he's gonna move...is there anyway to take him off the mortgage...or make him keep paying?we've only been in the house 3 months! this is a shock to all of us,what exactley are the options we have? please help...thanks much.

He can quitclaim his interest in the home to you three and you can continue paying the mortgage. If your dad wants off of the loan, he can approach the bank and ask under what conditions they would release him from the loan. Otherwise he is on it.
