Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Can I move into my condo?

My family trust owns a condo that is currently vacant in a 55+ community. I am 42 years old. Is there any way I can do this? I have searched and found nothing.

Re: Can I move into my condo?

I cannot answer without more facts.

Condo communities are usually governed by a Homeowner's Association (HOA) that carrier great legal power Their by-laws are usually called CCR's, and again, they enforce their own rules.

Chances are slim that you could move in at age 42.

I would write to one of the board members, especially the President, and ask. You could also seek out a copy of the CCR's and read them.

Good luck!
