Neighbor damages/kills my tree

If my neighbor damages or kills my tree, causing it to fall, who is responsible for damages?

Re: Neighbor damages/kills my tree

Even though your neighbor has the right to trim branches coming into his property, he does not have the right to do so in a manner that injuries the tree [aside from the removal of the offending branches] or kills it. So he is responsible for the damages.
