Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
My neighbor is feeding my cats. She has a cat door for her own cat, lets mine come in, even opens the "human" door to let them in. Plus, she feeds a homeless cat on her front porch. She has made my cats very welcome. I would like her to kick them out, not allow them in, but she says it is my responsibility to keep them off her property. (I.e., lock them in my house.)
Is she correct?
I personally thinks she wants to keep one of my cats.
Thanks in advance.

If you instruct her not to let your cat in, she would be required to follow your wishes. Otherwise, she might be committing a legal wrong called trespass to chattel. If push comes to shove, you could probably try to obtain a court injunction to bar her from admitting your cat. You would have to consider the cost of retaining an attorney to obtain the result you desire.
