Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
My neighbor refuses to let my plumber on his property to repair/replace sewer. Houses are in the Arch. Heritage District Vallejo CA. Both house were on one particle but divided in 1990. My house was the original house over 100 years old. Terra Cotta pipes are falling apart. I simply want to replace with new piping and he wants to relocate where there are no city pipes and cost would be exorbitant. Help, I have ad the plumber out unclogging his roots 5 times in last 5 months just 3 weeks ago and he is scheduled to come today as my sewer is clogged again. I am not sure if we need to go in his yard if he will let the plumber. What is my recourse?

You can call the City and see if they will intervene. Try the county as well. Barring that, you can sue under necessity.
