my neighbor wants me to sign a paper agreeing to reroute my driveway easement so the people who want buy their house will be able to do said rerouting next Spring

Are they going to pay you for the relocation? Are they paying for the necessary survey and easement deed? How about your legal fees? Get counsel to review the documents before you do or sign anything. This could create a real mess as to title to your property.
