Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My neighbors are taking things from my yard

I rent a cottage on the back lot of a residential house. The renters that live in the main house rent from the same landlord I do. They lived in my cottage before moving into the main house. When they moved into the main house, I moved into the rear cottage and have my own lease with the landlord separate from theirs. The neighbors continue to enter my private back yard (which is fenced in) and take items which were there when I moved in TWO YEARS AGO. The items taken include: a rose bush, strawberry plants, bricks and stepping stones that were used to edge my grass, rocks which were ground cover outside my back door and misc. plant items. I have complained to the landlord, but this continues to happen on a regular basis. I do not want these people on my property. What legal action can I take to ensure that this does not continue? I don't care about the items taken, but do not want my privacy invaded again!

Thank you. I look forward to your response.

There are two things you can do. Its up to you. go to court and get an injunction or call the cops next time and make a citizens arrest for trespass.
