Noisy Neighbor

''What can I do about the tenants who live above me with hardwood floors who let's their children play with what sounds like bowling balls above me and constantly run throughout the unit above me. Aside from moving that is.

Probably nothing involving the Law. Tell them what the problem is and see if they can put down some carpeting or throw rugs, limit the times of day it is done, etc. If they will not co-operate, tape record the noises and recorded what time of day it occurs and then go to the mananger and/or landlord and see what they can do. Point out that the noise might force you to move and that helps neither the landlord nor you. If that does not work and the noise is really very loud and too early in the morning or too late at night, you could sue in Small Claims court but then they will never co-operate with you.
