Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My options

Last year, my husband & I moved from one area to another to take care of his terminal mother. When she died, we notified the owner and she has given us until the end of July to move. We are having problems finding a place due to the time of year and location. Any rentals that are available right now are summer rentals and rates. What are our options? Also, can rental properties discriminate against you for credit history?

Re: My options

Your options are to cut a deal with the current landlord or move. They can refuse to rent to you based on credit history.
