Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

The owner of the property failed to disclose the fact that our street would be changed to be the only entry street in the park. Three other access streets were closed diverting 100% of the incoming traffic into the street on which our mobile home is situated. Do we have grounds for seeking restitution for selling our home, purchasing another and moving?

This may be an example of actionable "failure to disclose," if you can prove that the owner knew or should have known about the pending closure of the other streets. Sometimes, however, absentee owners aren't expected to know much about their properties, or perhaps the street closures weren't public knowledge at the time of your purchase. It's probably worth a conference with a local lawyer. However, the damages available may not be so great as to cover everything you suggest you want.
