Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
paid 1000.00 to escrow 250.00 inspection, 500.00 for appraisal, after few months, deal was cancelled because one of my homes was foreclosed in jan. 2010, it was included in my b.k. in nov. 2009, only 1000.00 was returned, so i'm out 750.00, from the deal, i feel the agent should have done her research prior to me having to put out all this money. is there a case here? p.s. she stated she learned something new.

Sorry, if anyone has a claim it is the agent against you for failing to disclose your bankruptcy and foreclosure and making them lose their commission. Your agent is not responsible for doing "her" research about YOUR credit problems. Your ability to qualify for a loan is your responsibility, not your real estate agent's.
I agree with Mr. McCormick. If she learned something new, it was not to deal with you.
