Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

parking space and rental agreement

My rental agreement stated that I would be given a parking space without specifying any details about the nature of the parking space. Trusting the management company, I assumed that I would be given a single parking space that I would be able to park my car in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But it turned out that the building I am living in is actually short one parking space, so I was assigned to park in a place that blocks the trash pick-up. Two to 4 times a week I have to move my car onto the street. Because of this inconvenience, the management company agreed to reduce my rent by $25. Later, they found another tenant who does not use her parking space every day, and I park in her space 4 days a week instead of on the street.

My question is this: am I still entitled to a $25 discount on my rentbecause I am still inconvenienced by not having a single parking space in which I can leave my car 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? What does "1 parking space" on a rental agreement actually mean?

Thanks.

CA Parking space question

If the rental agreement states "one assigned" space, then you should still be entitled to the reduction. However, if the agreement just indicates that a space will be availabe for you, I think the management's current accomodation may be sufficient.
