Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
A person said he would help my son in fixing his car. He took parts saying he would take it to the body shop to fix and get it painted, A few days later I find out that this person has the spoiler on his car. Can he be arrested for petty theft or something?

Can be, but "will be" is up to the police to decide, after you make a report. They don't have to act on every citizen complaint, and in these cut-back times they may give this low priority.
