Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

me and another person traded two dirtbikes for one... well the other persons bike i trade with was stolen.. so i gave back the bike we traded for.. do you think i should be able to get my bike back?

Usually, when a trade is agreed upon, and the parties complete the exchange, a theft afterwards does not give an excuse for un-doing the trade. I would need a somewhat longer version of the story to be able to say for sure. The facts given are too brief and uncertain.
