Planting Trees

Does a neighbor have a right to plant baby trees right on a property line, knowing that when the tree matures half the tree trunk will be on the next door neighbors property.

If its right on the property line then half of the trunk is already encroaching on your property. The answer is no. You have the right to cut back any growth that hangs over your property. Let your neighbor know this and let him know you intend to do so and that this will harm his trees.

It shouldn't take too much work for your neighbor to move the trees back a bit, since they're still saplings (is that the right word?).
