Preforeclosure

Just got Notice of Trustee's sale before i got this the owner is has asked me to pay rent after 2 months of not.She has a short loan with bank she keeps telling me that the houes is going to be sold. So there for I need to pay I asked her what about my Deposit her rep told me she what give it back after i move yet just not tranfer fund to new owner if this all tru what should i do pay or stay .The sale is in 3 weeks ? this is long story
