Does private property have to state if

a permit is required to park. Example

condo parking area, no signs are

posted stated that parking is for

residences only or parking is by

permit only, but there is a sign that

states that it is private property, do

they have a right to tow a vehicle?

It depends upon local ordinances. But, you may not park on private property with impunity.
