Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I am in the process of purchasing a condo in Orange County, CA. I received an email from my real estate agent that was sent to her from the listing agent. The email stated that the seller was willing to sell me all of the keys/permits (gate access clicker, pedestrian key, gym key, pool key, guest parking permit) for $100.00. In the email she listed the costs of "purchasing" these items from the HOA as being much more. I'm confused. Shouldn't I receive access to all parts of the community as part of the sale? Nowhere in my contract is it stipulated that keys are not included. I was under the impression that I am supposed to receive the keys/clickers as part of my purchase. Please advise.

That is the most absurd thing that I have ever heard. Of course you are supposed to get the keys. After they have sold the condo to you, how are you supposed to get in. Why would the seller need to keep any keys or access devices? Mr. Stone is right. Tell your agent to do his or her job and tell the seller to turn those over or get sued for breach of contract.
