Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

We had some property damage due to Directv drilling a hole through our shower drain pipe and it has been leaking for over 2 months now. We have damage that is going to cost around 5,000.00. Wee have to submit several forms and one that includes the total amount claimed. Can we claim an amount for our inconveince? If so How much can we claim? What is the legal word for incovenience charge?

No, you can only claim for out of pocket expenses or pain and suffering [but not if there was no direct injury to your body or mind]. You might be able to throw in an amount for the value of your time in trying to fix the leak but insurance carriers normally ignore that type of claim [you would have to push very hard but diplomatically].
