Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

property lien

I had a les pendance on the joint property with my ex but she asked and received relief from it . I have a pending slander suit against her and she is now trying to sell the property to hide her assets. Is there a lien I can place on the property until the slander case is heard?

If you own it jointly then she can't sell it. Call me directly at 1.619.222.3504.

Re: property lien

Did she call you litigious? If you are suing her for slander for something she said arising out of a divorce/ family law case you have, then your lawsuit is frivolous, and almost anything she said is deemed privileged. If you keep recording lis pendens against property that is not involved in a quiet title action, you will end up getting sued for slander of title. Stop now before you hurt yourself any further.

Very truly yours,
