Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Property is in living trust, is it protected from foreclosure? If the property sold thru a foreclosure trustee's sale, would the buyer have any issues getting title to the property? Thanks.

Placing real property in trust does not affect the rights of then-existing lien holders with properly recorded liens. If it were otherwise, deeds of trust (“mortgages”) would be worthless as financing tools.
