Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

property taxes

We have 3 properties. Our home which we bought in 04, a spec house we built to sell in 06 that didn't, and a vacant lot. We have 3 mortgages and are dying on the vine. The spec house is rented and we can pay our mortgage but all the taxes are killing us. Any ideas? We live in Shasta Co. in Ca. 62+

Re: property taxes

If you have not done so, apply to the Assessor's Office for a reduction in the valuation of the properties because of the down turn in the market value of all real estate.
