Paying your taxes is an obvious answer, especially if you're asking about a lien for county property taxes due on your home. However, with more information, we might have other possibilities to suggest, e.g., maybe the lien you're concerned about is an IRS lien for income taxes, in which case you may have more wiggle room via negotiation, appeal, filing missing returns, etc.

It all depends on what kind of lien you might be protecting yourself/home from. Is a private company trying something or is it taxes, or neither of those? Give us just a little more information and I will look it up to make an assessment. i.e. I need to know who is trying or might try to put a lien on your house. Thanks.
