Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
i purchased a home in california a few months ago and found out recently that I never saw or signed the legal disclosures that the sellers must make to the buyers . the real estate co that listed the home is also where my agent worked. i think if i had seen these disclosures before the sale i may have been able to negotiate a lower price. Do i have grounds for a suit?

How could you not see the disclosures? You just agreed to buy a house without getting the disclosure statement?

You have the basic right to sue, but for it to be worth doing, or worth anything for that matter, you will have to have proof that the property was worth less than you paid for it and that you would have paid less if you had the disclosures.
