Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
I purchased a new model house in July 2009 and later found a structural defect that caused the rodents to go inside our house which bore hole in our wall. I found uneven gap at the bottom of the side door in our garage. Can I oblige the builder to repair the gap since the house is still under warranty?

I think it's worth making a written demand......and if the bulder doesn't either make the repair or give you a credible answer as to why this is not a proper claim under the warranty, consider filing a claim for the cost of repairs in Small Claims Court (assuming repairs are less than $7,500 or so).
