Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I purchased property in Colorado and paid the loan off in January 2009, and I have not recieved the deed or title yet. I have been getting the run around from the company I paid the loan to. How do I get my title?

You will have to sue them if they refuse. The problem is you will probably have to file a suit in Colorado to quiet title (because that is where the property is located). I am not licensed in that state, so I cannot even tell you if they have a cause of action to quiet title - that is what it would be referred to in California. You may wish to send them one final demand letter indicating that you will file suit if they do not transfer title to you.
