Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Question-Since planned communities in Calif are allowed to recover delinquent assessments, costs, interest, atty fees, etc., will attorneys for these communities (this one is riverside co) entertain offers for far less than the amounts due on behalf of their clients and if so, under what circumstances usually.

It's certainly possible, but I'd think rather unlikely that the lawyers will be making deals on behalf of their clients. More likely, if the planned communities compromise their claims, the wheeling and dealing will be done by management. However, each situation and each attorney-client relationship is different.
