Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
help on quit claim deed
My wife and I are married for 8 years. Just 3 years ago she decided to separate from me and that she will divorce me later on. Now she's doing great on her current job and plans to buy a property. She asks me to sign a quit claim deed, explaining simply to me that I authorize her to be the sole owner of the property. We both live a different life now and I really don't care whatever she wants to buy. In other words, I'm not interested in all her riches. I'm a simple person living a simple life. Our daughter, 6 years old, lives with her and she earns 4x more than me. Questions are - Do I need to sign the deed? and What should I look out for before signing it?
The signing will take place by the end of this month.
Please advise.

who you are now is not who you will be tomorrow. don't do something foolish now that you will greatly regret in the future --- you do not have to sighn that deed and you should not without the advise of a good family law attorny in your area so you are better informed --- there are may alternatives to this and you should know them and your rights ---- look ahead if not for yourself your daughter -
