Quitclaim Deed

My brother and sister are on title of my personal residence. Each have 1/3 interest. I wish to quitclaim my brother's 1/3 interest to me for valuable consideration. My brother lives in Florida. Can I use a California qiutclaim deed and change the notary part to State Of Florida as this is were he will sign the document.

A quitclaim or grant deed would be appropriate. I would suggest using a Florida jurat (notary form).

Be aware that there could be adverse tax consequences to both of you because of transfer of title. Talk to a tax advisor before doing anything.
