Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

real estate

We found out that our property is worth nothing because the seller and title company took shortcuts (violated housing laws) when they sold us this house so we can't resell it. Our lawyer that we had died and we have no money to pay a new one. Is there a government program or something that can dissolve our obligation to pay for this house since we were frauded? Is there some free legal advice that we can get to get out of this contract?

Re: real estate

I wish I had a nickel for every person who told me they gave all their money to the first lawyer.

Unfortunately, situations like yours do not motivate me to work for free, and I assume most other lawyers feel the same way.
