I have a lien against my house which I have statisfied. What do I do now to have it removed?

Contact the lien holder and request a notarized satisfaction of lien, and then record it with the county recorder.

A letter citing the statute for satifying a judgment and lien should be sent certified mail. If the lien is still not removed, a Motion can be filed to satisfy the judgment. Attorney fees may be recoverable if such a motion is filed. Please contact us if you have any other questions.
